On the Japanese island’s shore,
in the tree house cabin,
Elvis ate green bean soap,
crab carrot cake, beef jerky
in brisket-colored toffee,
ice cream waves,
chocolate egg potatoes,
meat loaf cookies in cheeseburgers.
Elvis had seen
six-chip toffee,
a cougar on the island,
trolls in the tree house,
dogs on shore.
