Touch that velvet sea
With these old fingers.
Peace be a song,
Silver pool of sadness.
Children whisper hopeful words.

These little memories are lost.

    Addison,
    This is a very beautiful poem. It is a little sad, but my favorite part is “Peace be a song . . . Children whisper hopeful words.” You are very talented. I hope you keep writing.
