There it is, just sitting there
a red and yellow bluebonnet
in the cold windy rainforest
but this is a clue.
The rain is as cold as a
Sunday ice cream sandwich.
Animals will come together
bears and wolves will walk
side by side
the people in the war
will come together
and instead of fighting they will
just talk it out.

I love this piece. I enjoyed “Sunday ice cream sandwich” I thought that this line added a note of frivolity to a very serious piece. Great Job!
