Free Verse is a free monthly workshop and open mic series for youth ages 13-19. Each month, young poets, spoken word artists, singers and songwriters come together to learn, build community and share their work. Each Free Verse workshop is taught by a professional writer and is followed by an open mic. Free Verse workshops are centered around a theme, often in celebration of cultural or identity group.
