
This spring WITS Writer Van G. Garrett will lead three writing workshops at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston (MFAH)
The workshops will take writers on a cross-cultural and cross-temporal look at works in the museums’ galleries of Asian, African, and indigenous American Art. Special emphasis will be given to The Glassell Collections of African, Indonesian & Pre-Columbian Gold. Each workshop is designed around a different aspect of the theme Sacred to Profane.

Larger than Life: Royal Legends – Saturday, Apr 20, 2013 from 1 to 5 p.m.
From Past to Present: The Party-Line of Knowledge – Saturday May 18, 2013 from 1 to 5 p.m.
The fee for attending is $25 for MFAH members and $35 for the general public. Each session includes gallery access, snacks, and conference time with Van Garrett.
