Sailing on the boat
Wind in your face
The everlasting peace
With prairies of water, swirling around
The morning haze in great abound.
In the middle are patches of grass
The animals unnoticed, the nature concealed.
There are times to be with others. This one is not.
The reflection of water makes it feel larger than life
Though the intensifying sun progressively feels hotter
With ice capped peaks
And marshes of grass.
I’m fishing but catching nothing.
Is it me or are there no fish?
The remains of a city lay far and beyond
Torn and neglected, a sanctuary for animals.
A flood of color,
A flash of light,
In the halo of silence
Lays a truly wonderful sight.
