Kathy Elliott is a third-year M.F.A. candidate in poetry at the University of Houston. She grew up in Richmond, Virginia and graduated from the University of Virginia. She currently teaches composition and literature classes at the University of Houston.
Kasten Glover is a second-year MFA candidate in poetry at the University of Houston. If you asked him what kind of poetry he writes he would kindly say, “I try to write the good kind.” After receiving a B.A. in Business from Drury University, Kasten immediately entered into a Literature program at the University of Central Missouri. One year later he graduated, married his wife Kim and moved to the small town of Morris, Minnesota where they learned about isolation and the cold together. He currently resides in Bear Creek with his wife of three years and their son James.
David Stuart MacLean is in his final year of his PhD at the University of Houston. He is a former Fulbright Scholar, is on the Artist Board at DiverseWorks!, and is a co-founder of the Poison Pen Reading Series. He holds an MFA from New Mexico State University. His work has been published at Quarterly West, guernicamag.com, and Gulf Coast.
