I am the dark blue river
the stars in the black night
the elephant rider in the night
the wind moving in the trees
the cave in the black mountain
the deer frolicking in the forest
the rabbit awake at night
I am the house alone in the moonlight
the pages of the worn down book
the farmer smelling the oranges
I am the dark corner in the closet
the color purple on the wall
the shine of gold on the swimming gold medal
the ripple on the water as the movement occurs
I am the end of the dark hallways
I am the sunshine coming through the window
I am Tennessee’s light.
