Every spring we celebrate Passover
with family and friends.
We gather together not just to pass
food, but to pass love.
We remember the story of the
Jewish people and their escape from slavery.
We eat matzoh and hard boiled eggs
and parsley dipped in salt water.
The adults drink lots of wine while we
look for the hidden afikoman.
It’s a really long meal that reminds us
to be strong and to stand up for ourselves
and for others.
