As always, a WITS student will kick off the event with an original poem.

Writers to Share Work at space125gallery (Houston)

abstract32byrealeoni-when-colors-danceFormer WITS Writers and other Houston Arts Alliance Individual Artist Grant recipients will bring back the power of spoken word to the HAA’s Literary Salon. While indulging in an evening of literary adventure, the audience will be the first to experience space125gallery’s non-fiction anthology of fantastical creatures, an interactive storybook available for guest stories, drawings, or photographs. At 7 p.m. Christopher Dunn, Christa Forster, Hank Hancock, Jacquelyn Shah and Gwendolyn Zepeda will read their work on January 15, 2008, at the HAA offices (3201 Allen Parkway).
