My Magic Box

My box
It is made out of marble
It is back, red, white, blue, and brown
And it is in camouflage

My box
It snaps when you close it
It is in the shape of a football
It only opens if you have made someone laugh

In my magic box
There is the Milky Way Galaxy
A Ferrari with 500 horsepower and nitro boosts

In my magic box
There is a person who fainted singing opera
There are pencils that are firecrackers
There are teachers that encourage you to do something

In my magic box
Is every single book in the world
And when I leave my box
I want to get back in

City of Dreams

Posted April 27, 2008 & filed under Poem of the Day.

Darkness, black, specks of light, swim
closer, light in the city of dreams,
population, fish, buildings, coral, shock,
flash, a fish beside me, he was slightly
transparent, flew into me, and I came to
be a fish, he flew out, I was human so I
called him Mistia, I gave him that name
because it was by that name he was
known on the streets and in the houses
of that magical city, no air, must breathe,
and he flew into me again to forever stay.

Magical Horses

Posted November 21, 2007 & filed under Notebook.

carousel-steed-by-just-jo-via-flickr.jpgI see a flying, magical horse.

It brings me wishes and hopes,

gifts, blessings, and help.

Just call the horse when you

need that magical thing in your life!

You will see your dreams and

wishes coming true when it flies

down those bumpy stairs and

touches you with magic.

I see a flying, magical horse.

Do you see one too?
