My Pink Day

Posted October 11, 2011 & filed under Notebook.

Inspired by the poem “Blue Winter” by Robert Francis

Summer uses all the pinks there are.

One shade of pink for the sunset, one for my cheeks,

Another pink for my lips shining with gloss.

A pink-winged butterfly floats over my head,

A pink flower shoots up from the ground.

I feel joy and love.  Pink makes me fly towards

my destiny of happiness.  I always dream of

pink.

Pink

Pink is a soft as my jacket.

Pink tastes like cherry pie.

Pink smells like sweet corn candy.

Pink sounds like a song.

I am Eunice

I am tickle me pink. I am strawberry ice cream. I am soft sweetness that comes with coolness.

I am tickle me pink. I am blush. I am the shyness from a little girl’s cheeks.

I am tickle me pink. I am a heart. I am a kindness that comes from inside.

I am tickle me pink. I am cotton candy. I am a cloud in a dream world.

I am tickle me pink. I am flowers. I am a color that fills a green field.

I am tickle me pink. I am fragrance. I am a calming smell from flowers.

I am tickle me pink. I am a blanket. I am warmness and softness you can feel.
